Fur trade inhumane

Re: “Activists protest fur store.”

The Fraser valley is one of the largest producers of mink in Canada, hardly people living off the land. The rows of tiny cages confine thousands of these animals and there is no way that this confinement can be humane, even if it fits in the “Recommended Codes of Practice.” I have seen fur farms and I can say that the fur council blatantly lies about the fur trade, all in the name of increasing profits.
