The 31st Toronto International Film Festival made its debut at Roy Thomson Hall with the 19th annual Astral Media opening night gala reception.
Opening with the film The Journals Of Knud Rasmussen, directors, producers, actors and festival organizers took more than their seats with a pre-screening party. After the screening, the party shifted to the Liberty Grand as the first night of film festival fun took off.
