Sure, it’s been busy playing host to Parc’s baguette-nibbling celebrities, but Rittenhouse Square enjoyed quite the extensive and swanky history long before Owen Wilson showed up. From its conception in 1682 to today, longtime resident Nancy M. Heinzen’s “The Perfect Square” looks at the history of Center City’s much-used and beloved public space.
