Going in circles on roundabouts

It’s pointless to produce a report on improving the aesthetics of the region’s roundabouts given the current funding gap, Coun. Jennifer Watts said yesterday. She said landscaping and public art services will face funding reductions when council debates the budget in mid December.

“It’s moving something ahead when we need to have the larger discussion first,” said Watts.

The report will offer guidelines to improve the design of the cities roundabouts, said Coun. Linda Mosher.
