Got the rhythm? PNE looking for dancers

The PNE is holding open auditions for the chance to appear in its 100th anniversary opening ceremony and three daily performances during its annual fair at the end of the summer.

The auditions are being held on May 30, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. for a role in KC Bear’s Street Party parade.

Tryouts for the 100 Years of Fun Parade begin at 9 a.m. and at 11:30 a.m. for KABOOM, a pyro musical spectacular.

Organizers are looking for enthusiastic dancers with a strong background in jazz dance for KABOOM and the 100 Years of Fun parade.

Candidates chosen for KC Bear’s Street Party should be good with children and be able to improvise and interact with an audience. Cast members may also be selected to perform in the PNE opening ceremony on Aug. 21 at Empire Field Stadium.
