Grocery chain recalls baguettes

The products contain milk which is not declared on the label

OTTAWA — The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued an alert to inform people with milk allergies not to consume certain products.

The agency, along with Metro Ontario Inc., is warning against Master Choice brand frozen garlic and herb baguettes.

It has voluntarily recalled the product from Metro and A&P stores in Ontario.

The products contain milk which is not declared on the label.

There has been one reported case of a person having an allergic reaction associated with eating one of these products.

The UPC codes of the affected product, which both come in 330 g packages, are as follows: Multigrain Garlic and Herb Baguette — 69200 50778 8 and Garlic and Herb Baguette — 69200 50777.
