OWEN SOUND, Ont. – Scott Kosmachuk scored two goals, including the game winner, as the Guelph Storm defeated the host Owen Sound Attack 3-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Zack Mitchell also scored for the Storm (21-19-5), who have won three straight contests.
Jay Gilbert had a goal and an assist for the Attack (22-20-6), who have dropped four in a row, while Mike Halmo scored the other.
Garret Sparks made 38 saves for the win as Scott Stajcer turned aside 25 shots in a losing effort.
Guelph went 2 for 5 on the power play as Owen Sound scored once on four opportunities with the man advantage.
