Anyone who wants a body like actress Gwyneth Paltrow should be prepared to work for it, reports.

“I think she works out three hours a day, which is one of the keys to success,” said chef Mario Batali. “If we all did that, we’d all look like Gwyneth Paltrow. Or at least closer.”

He added that Paltrow, 35, “loves to eat ... and, you know, she never puts on a pound!”

That wasn’t the case when she pregnant with her son, Moses, however. Paltrow reportedly hated her figure following his birth in April 2006, and struggled for months to rid her body of the extra 42 pounds.

“I didn’t mind the big boobs. But I hated the stomach roll, the back fat and the post-pregnant butt,” Paltrow revealed to V magazine. “It was so hard to get rid of. Especially the final 20 pounds.”

What helped her shed the weight, she said, was eating “organic, seasonal food that isn’t processed.”
Paltrow and Batali are teaming up for their upcoming PBS documentary Spain ... On the Road Again, airing this fall.

“We had an amazing time — we saw everything!” Batali said.

“Predominately,” he added, the show is “about understanding Spain from the perspective of a casual traveller. It’s very much like a road trip, we just drove into a place, figured out what was going on and tried to get a hold of it.”
