Alberta Health Services has deemed demand for H1N1 vaccinations is strong enough to re-open three mass clinics for six days after the holidays.
The clinics, Avenida Village, Brentwood Village Mall and Whitehorn, will open at noon on Jan. 4 and be open from Jan. 4 to 7 from noon to 7 p.m. and then Jan. 8 and 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The AHS said interest in the vaccine remains steady. Long lines formed this week at all of the mass vaccination clinics in the city, as the AHS had earlier indicated the clinics would be closing at the end of the day on Dec. 23.
The AHS said further possible clinic dates would be announced based on public demand and any details concerning vaccine availability at Community Health Clinics will be posted on the AHS website, albertahealthservices.com
