If you’ve ever dreamed of being a police recruit, now is your big chance.
Halifax Regional Police will again be hosting their annual Discover HRP program that allows applicants to live the life of a police recruit for a week. It involves taking part in fitness drills, firearm exercises, mentoring sessions and other exercises.
The program is targeted at people who are interested in pursuing a career in policing.
Applicants must be between 19 and 29 years sold and have no criminal record.
Discover HRP is held at Northbrook School in Dartmouth from July 13-17. There is no cost to participate but registration is limited.
