I have been to these salad places before. Soggy, chemical-ridden lettuce is topped with your choice of ingredients and dressing for an exorbitant price. Nuh-uh.
But the newly re-opened Salad Creations on Yonge pulled me in.
The selection is fantastic — build your own salad from four types of lettuce, over 40 ingredients and 20 salad dressings, or choose from 12 featured salads or 10 featured wraps. There are tasty soups and paninis as well.
Featured Salad Wild Alaskan Salmon (Full $9.99, Jr $8.99) offers spinach, wild Alaskan salmon, tomatoes, carrots, red onions, sunflower seeds, feta cheese and balsamic vinaigrette.
Actually, I get to choose a dressing, so I get Honey Herb & Dijon.
