Edmontonians will have an opportunity to learn more about where the next LRT downtown connection will be located, and share their views at an open house at the Stanley Milner Library on Nov. 2.

The Recommended Concept Plan will take feedback from the open house and apply it to a non-statutory public hearing on Dec. 8. The connection will bring together the future west and southeast lines, converging in the city’s core.

“In June we presented the corridor to council, and it was approved by council,” said Adam Laughlin, director of facility and capital planning. “There are up to three different options depending on the location.”
