The Halifax Regional Police has announced the recent release of a sexual offender they say is at high risk to reoffend.
Donald J. Fisher, 33, has been released from prison after serving his full two year sentence for numerous
property-related crimes. Fisher has multiple previous convictions,
including sex offences against both children and adults.
He has been
professionally assessed as a high risk to re-offend in a sexual manner, police say.
Fisher is on a number of conditions, which are intended to prevent
him from having contact with children under the age of 16. He is a
white male, 5'5, 120 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
The police stress this information is to alert the public and that any vigilante activity will not be tolerated.
