Hillary Clinton says WikiLeaks is a ‘tool of Russian intelligence’

Former U.S Secretary of State and Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton believes WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange colluded with Russia to damage her chances of winning the presidential election.

During an interview with Australian television program “Four Corners,” Clinton accused Assange of conspiring with Russian intelligence to cause harm to her 2016 presidential campaign and assist Donald Trump’s campaign efforts.

“I think Assange has become a kind of nihilistic opportunist who does the bidding of a dictator,” she said to journalist Sarah Ferguson during the exclusive interview on Four Corners.

During the interview, Clinton said the WikiLeaks founder is a “tool of Russian” intelligence when she was asked to share her thoughts on the idea that many people see Assange as a martyr for free speech and information.

“If he’s such a martyr of free speech, why doesn’t WikiLeaks ever publish anything coming out of Russia?”

The former Secretary of State firmly believes there was a “concerted operation” between WikiLeaks, Russia and people in the United States to “weaponize” information and make up stories about her that were meant to help Trump become the president.

“I lost the Electoral College by about 77,000, and what we’re finding out is that there had to be some very sophisticated help provided to WikiLeaks; to know how to target both their messages of suppression and their negative messages to affect voters.”

Clinton described of how she believed the timing of WikiLeaks release of emails were used to distract the public including Donald Trump’s lewd “grab her by the p—y” remarks from a recorded conversation from 2005 that surfaced in October 2016.

“I’ve no doubt in my mind that there was some communication if not coordination to drop those the first time in response to the Hollywood Access tape.”

Assange took to Twitter to share his thoughts about Clinton saying there was “something wrong” with her.
