The 19-year-old sniper sat out with what team officials are
calling a “lower-body injury.” Hillier left the ice in the third period
favouring his left leg. He returned for a couple of shifts but didn’t return
for the overtime frame.
He is listed as “day-to-day” and “could” play on Sunday in
Game 2, Mooseheads head coach Cam Russell said.
