Two people were seriously hurt Saturday morning when a stolen SUV ran a red light and smashed into a car.
Police say a stolen Yukon collided with a Chevrolet Malibu at about 7:45 a.m. on 4th Street at 20th Avenue.
The driver of the Yukon jumped into a GMC Suburban, which police say was being driven by an accomplice. Both men subsequently fled the collision scene.
They were arrested later in the day, but charges had not yet been laid.
The 59-year-old male driver of the Malibu was taken to the hospital with critical head injuries. The 58-year-old female passenger of the car had non-life-threatening serious injuries.
