Ottawa will be well represented at this year’s Ottawa International Animation Festival in October.
An episode from local company Amberwood Entertainment’s Rob the Robot has been selected to compete for the festival’s top prize this year.
Ottawa native Nick Cross will once again be in the competition with his submission Yellow Cake, which is about happy bakers driven to violence by cake-hungry fat cats and the greed of their leader.
Only 90 animated films out of 2,091 entries are selected for the official competition.
