A 25-year-old Abbotsford woman says she won’t have to shop in the clearance centre anymore after winning $2 million in the BC-49 jackpot.

Rachel Paimen says she started running around the house and screaming after she realized she’d matched the winning numbers on last Saturday’s draw.

Paimen, who works as a housekeeper, says she plans to go to Mexico for a holiday before heading back to school to get her degree. She joins a growing list of B.C. jackpot winners this month, starting March 1 when a Surrey couple claimed $25 million in the Lotto Max game.
