Housing sales expected to drop more than 10%

Edmonton housing sales will slump this year compared to what was seen in 2008, predicts the Realtors Association of Edmonton in its annual forecast Thursday.

The association says more than 15,000 homes will be sold through its Multiple Listing Service this year, compared to the 17,317 homes that were sold in 2008 — a drop of 10.5 per cent.
