Kate Hudson says she’s aspiring to be like her own parents when it comes to raising her kids.
“My parents allowed my brother and I to have our freedom,” she tells Elle magazine. “(We could) be ourselves and feel confident in our choices and make mistakes without too much judgment.”
Hudson hopes she “can do as good of a job” as her mom, Goldie Hawn, who “never hands out unsolicited preachy words of wisdom,” she says.
And despite having a newborn at home, Hudson isn’t slowly down.
“I would never want to be with someone who complains and goes, ‘Oh, my God, my life is so crazy,’” she says. “If you make the best of it, it can be amazing.”
Hudson admitted though that life has gotten harder since she had her second child but she vowed that it would not change her outlook on life.
