Fragrant orange, pink, yellow and purple flowers delighted viewers at Edmonton’s 34th annual Orchid Fair yesterday.
“You would probably find upwards of 400 orchids here today,” said speaker Lynne Copeland, who was taking part in a seminar entitled Orchids 101.
Free with admission to the show, visitors got an introduction to how to grow orchids, and they also got to take photos of their favourite plants.
“Our goal is to put on a good display,” she said.
Roughly 2,500 people have visited the MacEwan University gym this year, from Friday to yesterday.
