WASHINGTON (Reuters) - International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde on Friday called for "clarity" on the negotiations over the terms of Britain's exit from the European Union.
Lagarde, speaking at an IMF lecture with China's top central banker, said she hoped for "as smooth a transition as possible" for the new UK-EU relationship.
