Indy drivers make side trip to kids’ hospital

Youngsters at the Stollery Children’s Hospital got a visit on Thursday from some of the top drivers at this year’s Honda Indy.

The kids were visited by Australian driving champ Will Power, and Canadian driver Phillip Major. Power is the winner of the 2009 race in Edmonton, and has four of the first nine races in the 2010 season.

“I just want to cheer them up,” said Power. “I couldn’t imagine spending my time as a child in a hospital bed … I just want to make them smile.”
