An inmate from the Edmonton’s maximum prison is recovering in the University Hospital from a stab wound and police say he’s not talking.
The alleged assault occurred sometime after 11 p.m. Wednesday shortly before the 25-year-old inmate was found with a bloody wound in his cell, police said.
Police said the attack doesn’t appear to be gang-related.
