Inmates serenaded Sandusky with Pink Floyd: ‘Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone’

Prison isn’t the only punishment Jerry Sandusky will receive. The former Penn State assistant football coach was taunted by his fellow as well.

An inmate from the Centre Country Correctional Facility, who only identified himself at Josh, said inmates serenaded Sandusky with Pink Floyd’s “The Wall.”

Don’t remember the lyrics to the classic song? We’ll help you out. Here’s what the inmates sang to the former football coach:

“Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone.”

This serenade occurred in December, when Sandusky was first arrested. The coach went free on bail then, but is back in the same correctional facility after being convicted of 45 counts of sexual abuse. He has currently been placed on suicide watch.

In the December incident, inmates could not see Sandusky because he was held in a cell in a special unit reserved for sexual offenders, but at night, once the lights were out, the singing began.

According to Josh, the inmates knew who Sandusky was because they had access to television and newspapers.

It is unknown whether the serenading continued for Sandusky since the jury found him guilty. We have to assume, though, with the official conviction, this won’t be the last Sandusky will hear from his prison mates.
