It’s been a rough week for Eminem. First he was the butt of Sacha Baron Cohen’s joke at the MTV Movie Awards, then the next night he had thousands of dollars worth of items stolen from his L.A. hotel room, including a $60,000 US diamond necklace and his personal laptop, according to Gatecrasher.
So it’s no wonder that at a charity event on Monday, the rapper wasn’t exactly up to form. “People were pumped to see him, but he wasn’t interacting with his fans. His performance was mechanical, without a lot of personality, and people were pretty disappointed,” a source said.
