The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario has been accused of having an easy job because its business is based on raising funds for sick kids, said the hospital’s vice-president of community development.

But Norma Lamont personally disagrees.

Meeting your target is a challenge no matter what charity you’re with, she said. “We have to be innovative, creative, we have to work hard,” she said.

Tracy Macintyre said her nine-year-old daughter Morgan is alive today because of CHEO.

Morgan and her mom were at TD Canada Trust to encourage customers to make automated donations to the Children’s Miracle Network.
