Airline JetBlue is suspending flights to and from Boston's Logan airport, NYC's JFK and LaGuardia airports and New Jersey's Newark airport after severe winter weather has snarled flight schedules in the Northeast.
The decision, reported by CBS Boston, went into effect Monday at 1 p.m. in an attempt to get the airline's flights back on track after countless cancellations and delays since Friday.
All flights to and from those airports will be stopped by 5 p.m. Monday and won't begin to resume until 10 a.m. Tuesday, JetBlue said.
"We intend to be 100-percent operational by 3 p.m. (Tuesday). This plan allows for 17 hours of rest for our equipment and crew members and time to service aircrafts,” the airline said in a statement reported by CBS.
