La Toya Jackson has called for “justice to be served” following her brother’s death, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

Michael Jackson’s sister is “relieved” court documents have revealed his death is being treated as a homicide, weeks after she publicly declared “shadowy members” of his entourage had murdered him.

She said in a statement: “I am thankful to the investigators for uncovering the truth to the world. I look forward to the day that justice will be served to all the parties involved in my brother’s homicide.”

Although Jackson’s statement was brief, fans will be able to hear her full views on Michael’s passing next month. She is set to give her first interview since his death on June 25 to Barbara Walters on 20/20 on Sept. 11.
