My story is opposite compared to the woman who threw her coffee in Michael Beline’s face.
On my way to the Bramalea GO station, I decided to stop to get a coffee at a Tim Hortons drive-thru. There was a long lineup, but I didn’t mind because I still had time until my next train.
I ordered my coffee and when I got to the window to pay, the lady said, “The gentleman that was in front of you paid for your coffee.”
I was shocked and didn’t know what to say. I remembered seeing a couple in a grey pickup truck in front of me and I thought maybe it was someone that I know.
I was still wondering why this couple would pay for my coffee. Then I remembered. They bought me the coffee because I let them in front of me at the drive-thru and that was their way of saying thank you.
This couple really made my day. If you are nice to people, then they will be nice back.
