Though they announced their split earlier this year, tensions were already mounting between Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes while filming 2008’s Revolutionary Road, especially during intimate scenes with co-star and friend Leonardo DiCaprio, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
“It was certainly a difficult time,” DiCaprio says, according to the newspaper. “She was really worried that Sam wasn’t bothered by the fact that his wife was making out with another guy right in front of her. I told her it was only acting, but she kept on saying, ‘This is really weird.’”
