Calgary’s mayoral race will grow in size and stature, as an outspoken Alberta Liberal MLA will campaign for the position come October.
Current Calgary Buffalo MLA Kent Hehr will make his announcement to run for mayor of Calgary in an event today at the Hyatt Regency.
Hehr is a lifelong Calgarian, born at the Holy Cross Hospital in 1969. Prior to entering politics, Hehr was a lawyer with Fraser Milner Casgrain.
Hehr is in his first-term as MLA for Calgary-Buffalo.
