Kidman spills on marriage to Cruise

Nicole Kidman is opening up about her marriage to Tom Cruise and the state her split from her first husband left her in.

“I was really damaged and not sure whether (love and marriage) was ever going to happen again to me,” she tells Marie Clare magazine. She admits that being Cruise’s wife turned out to be more than she’d bargained for.

“I was never seeking to be a celebrity,” she says. “But I was prepared to do that for love.”
