Kingston beats Oshawa 2-1 in overtime

KINGSTON, Ont. – Cody Alcock scored the winning goal 3:30 into overtime as the Kingston Frontenacs defeated the visiting Oshawa Generals 2-1 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Braydon Blight also scored for the Frontenacs (14-30-4), who have now won back-to-back games.

Matt Petgrave scored the lone goal for the Generals (21-21-5), who lost for the first time in three outings.

Igor Bobkov made 34 saves for the win, and first star of the game, while Kevin Bailie earned the game’s second star by making 32 saves in a losing effort.

Neither club could score on the power play as Kingston went 0 for 4 and Oshawa 0 for 6.
