Knife wielded in Dartmouth robbery

Police say two males, one of whom brandished a knife, threatened a clerk while robbing the Needs convenience store on Victoria Road in Dartmouth yesterday afternoon.

Halifax Regional Police say the incident took place at 2:40 p.m., with the two men leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. As the two suspects fled the scene, police say they got into an awaiting vehicle driven by a third man. Police describe the car as a 2010 dark blue Honda Civic with a Nova Scotia licence plate with the letter “C” on it.
