Kroeger facing lawsuit over alleged assault

A Vancouver man is suing Nickelback front man Chad Kroeger for allegedly punching him in the mouth outside a downtown nightclub two years ago.

Noah Christian Morse claims the assault took place outside Roxy Nightclub, on Granville Street, on May 4, 2007.

In documents filed in B.C. Supreme Court against Kroeger, also known as Chad Turton, Morse claims he suffered a concussion, permanent scars and headaches among other problems, according to

The lawsuit says Morse has incurred loss of income, future loss of income, as well as medical expenses.
Vancouver Police say the incident was investigated and Kroeger likely will not be charged.

He is currently on tour with Nickelback band mates, making stops in the Unites States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
