EVERETT, Wash. – Steve Kuhn had two goals and an assist, leading the Spokane Chiefs to a 4-2 victory over the Everett Silvertips on Wednesday night in Western Hockey League action.
Kuhn’s first goal broke open a 1-1 tie midway through the second period when he gathered a loose puck and beat Everett goaltender Austin Lotz.
He clinched the game with an empty-net goal with one second left.
Todd Fiddler and Darren Kramer also scored for Spokane (26-14-6), which won its fourth straight. Mac Engel made 19 saves in net for the Chiefs.
Ryan Murray and Josh Birkholz scored for Everett (10-30-9). Lotz stopped 32 shots in net for the Silvertips.
