Lady Gaga is responding to a US$30-million lawsuit from ex-producer Rob Fusari with a suit of her own, according to the New York Daily News.
Fusari claims he came up with the singer’s name and persona and co-wrote many of her hit songs.
Gaga’s lawyers counter that the contract between them was invalid because Fusari was not a licensed talent agent, and they say his actions were “predatory and financially abusive.”

Fusari’s lawyer calls the new suit ludicrous.
“Rob was no more of an ‘agent’ for her than she is a Roman Catholic nun,” he tells the newspaper.
