Authorities have adjusted their search area for two males believed drowned in a southern Alberta lake, RCMP said Wednesday.
RCMP continued their search Wednesday morning for two brothers, 15 and 28, who went missing after their canoe overturned with a third teen aboard in Lake Newell, 15 km south of Brooks.
Police said after interviewing the rescued 15-year-old they altered where they were searching for the missing boaters.
The police searched the lake until 11 p.m. Tuesday after receiving the distress call around 5 p.m., they said.
Police are searching the lake with a helicopter and a six-person dive team, according to Sgt. Patricia Neely of the RCMP.
The surviving teen was taken to Brooks Hospital for evaluation.
