Police found the badly burned body of 10-year-old Emani Moss in a trash can after her father dialed 9-1-1 in Lawrenceville, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta, reports Patch. Eman Moss, the girl's father, told the operator he was suicidal and that there was a dead body at his home. He said his daughter drank an unknown chemical and died.
When police arrived on the scene around 4 a.m. on Saturday morning, Eman Moss directed them to the trash can, where they found the girl's body. After further investigation, they arrested Moss and his wife Tiffany, stepmother of Emani, and charged the couple with felony murder, cruelty to children in the first degree and concealing a body. The two are being held at Gwinnett County Detention Center.
