“Eco-friendly” — just because it doesn’t spew poison and run on endangered bird eggs doesn’t necessarily make it green.

We asked: What buzzword would you like to see banned?

@sarcasmandtoast: “Eco-friendly” — just because it doesn’t spew poison and run on endangered bird eggs doesn’t necessarily make it green.

@bandercot: anything that we can attribute to Sarah Palin.

@robfreeman1130: Game changer. Can’t stand it! Most of the time there’s no game to change!

@judnivenvo: how about “having said that” and “guru (of any kind).”

@adam_weitner_pr: social media guru.

@urbanermezei: I believe “There’s an app for that” should be stricken from the records.

@cyrusrayne: Revolutionary and magical. A certain computer company named after a fruit has beaten both into oblivion.

@deadlytoque: Oh god “actionable.” Also “incentivize” and “dialogue” (as a verb; dialogue as a noun is fine).

@frodo87:?“Moving forward.” My least favourite phrase in human history.

@ari_ospeedwagon: Please legislate against the following (punishable by castration): “optics” and “at the end of the day.” Thank you.

@nexxus455: OMG!

@_mitch985: I’d be happy if I never heard “cold hard cash” ever again.
