Lipstick lifts her spirits

Charlotte Sullivan

Charlotte Sullivan, actress, plays Katie in the Citytv miniseries Across The River To Motor City:

Q: What products that you use make you look and feel good?

A: Dior rouge lipstick makes me happy, even when I had the flu I still wore it to bed. The perfume Stella by Stella McCartney is so rosy and elegant, it makes me feel like a lady. I’m also in love with Aveda’s Madagascar candle. It’s incredibly intoxicating.

Q: How do you keep life in perspective?

A: The truth is I have moments of great worry. On the other hand, I’m learning to stop focusing on what I don’t have, and shifting my consciousness to a greater level of appreciation for all that I am and all that I do have.

Q: How do you stay fit?

A: I go for long walks with my dog and play hide and seek with her. It’s hysterical! It’s such a fun workout because I get to be in her presence so I’m not even thinking about all the strenuous exercise I’m actually doing.

Dwight d’Eon

Dwight d’Eon, one of the Top 4 finalists of Canadian Idol 2007:

Q: What products that you use make you look and feel good?

A: I like Old Spice body wash and Gillette Fusion razors. I like the refreshing mint fragrance of Nioxin shampoo. As far as getting rest and relaxation, I read and watch movies. A glass of red wine always makes me relax.

Q: How do you keep life in perspective?

A: Every day I try to be as productive as possible. I always keep my eyes on the prize. If you’re always moving closer to your goals, then you roll with life’s little punches and the petty things tend to become insignificant.

Q: How do you stay fit?

A: I hit the gym four to five times a week and do a lot of cardio. When the weather’s good I love hitting the trails with a mountain bike. It’s a rush!

Q: What are your healthy eating habits?

A: I tend to watch what I eat, most times. I love junk food but I try to stay disciplined enough to not go there too much. I find being portion-conscious, eating raw food and avoiding dairy works the best.
