Loaders stolen from Brampton

Almost $500,000 worth of skid-steer loaders have been stolen from a Brampton business, prompting police to warn those in the construction industry to be wary if anyone offers to sell them such equipment.

Employees of the Clark Boulevard business discovered the theft of nine brand new loaders Tuesday morning. They were worth $40,000 to $50,000 each. Investigators are warning business owners not to purchase equipment from “nonreputable sources.”
