A Calgary man has been charged with sexually assaulting three girls in cases dating back to 1998.
The Calgary Police are also asking the public for more information and if there are more potential victims.
“With historical disclosures you may end up with more victims,” said Staff Sgt. Leah Barber.
“That’s why we are extending the invitation if anyone has more information to call.”
Police were made aware of the accused when one of the victims came forward in June 2009. Barber said the victims were between the ages of four and 12 at the time of the alleged assaults.
Barber said the girls were distant family members or friends of the accused.
Ronald A. Sayers faces charges of sexual interference with a child under the age of 16 and sexual assault.
