Disturbing video shows a man forcefully shoving a woman head-first into an idle subway train on DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn Wednesday night.

The video, which was posted on Twitter with an @ to NYPD to get the attention of investigators, shows the unprovoked assault unfold. In the video, a man is heard yelling “what! what!” as he pushes people on the platform, then charges at the young woman with his hands out. The man pushes her from behind, causing her body and head to catapult into the side of the stationary train as onlookers gasp.

Witness Brookle Sabel caught the violent attack on video, and shared it on Twitter at 7:33 p.m. that night, saying the victim “left the scene without getting any help.” It’s unclear what kind of injuries the woman suffered.

Cops were reportedly called to the scene but didn’t arrive until the crowd had cleared out. There were no arrests as of Thursday evening, but police were trying to identify the assailant.

“We’d like your help locating the victims or witnesses to several assaults yesterday at Dekalb Ave station in Brooklyn, and depicted in a widely circulated video- Our suspect is the man in the brown jacket and tan pants- Any information, please (call) @NYPDTips at 800-577-TIPS,” @NYPDTransit tweeted Thursday afternoon, along with an image of the suspect.
