The Feast of San Gennaro 2018 kicks off this week and if you love Italian food and more specifically, cannoli, you need to make sure you don’t miss this street fair.

Now in its 92nd year, the Feast of San Gennaro street fair is the oldest NYC street fair and will take place for 11 days this month in Little Italy. There will be plenty of music, food carts, vendors, restaurants and special events to enjoy along Mulberry Street from September 13-23 and if you’re thinking about attending the Feast of San Gennaro 2018, we’ve put together an easy guide to let you know when it starts, how to get there, and the street closures in the area so you’ll be prepared. 

When is The Feast of San Gennaro 2018?

The Feast of San Gennaro is from Thursday, September 13 to Sunday, September 23 and for 11-days there will be music, food, contests and other entertainment for everyone to enjoy. The Grand Procession parade will take place on September 15, at 2:30 p.m. 

Where is the Feast of San Gennaro 2018?

The 11-day street fair will take place on Mulberry Street in Little Italy and cover 10 blocks from Canal to East Houston streets.

Feast of San Gennaro 2018 street closures and location 

According to the New York City Department of Transportation, the following streets will be closed from Thursday, September 13 to Sunday, September 23 for The Feast of San Gennaro Festival in Little Italy. 

— Mulberry Street between Canal Street and East Houston Street
— Grand Street between Mott Street and Centre Street
— Hester Street between Mott Street and Centre Street

6 Train to Spring Street station. Walk two blocks East to Mulberry Street.
N or R trains to Prince Street. Walk three blocks East to Mulberry Street.
