Madonna misses living in London — and regularly flies back to the U.K. so her adopted daughter Mercy can experience life in Britain, femalefirst.co.uk reports.
The star fled to New York following her divorce from second husband Guy Ritchie last year, she tries to split her time between the Big Apple and the British capital but has recently spent much time at her New York residence.
However, since winning her appeal to adopt Malawian tot Mercy James, 4, in May the superstar singer has been trying to spend as much time in the U.K. as possible, insisting she still considers London her home.
She insists the regular visits to the city are good for her youngest child — because many of her London-based friends have children of similar ages to Mercy. She tells FemaleFirst; “A lot of my girlfriends here have kids so she (Mercy) has playdates every day.
