SAGINAW, Mich. – Max Domi scored three times as the London Knights defeated the host Saginaw Spirit 6-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Seth Griffith, Austin Watson and Ryan Rupert had a goal each for the Knights (37-10-1) while Greg McKegg chipped in with three assists.
Josh Shalla scored twice for the Spirit (21-22-5), who lost in regulation for the first time in seven contests, while Jimmy Lodge added a single goal.
Michael Houser made 33 saves for the win as Clint Windsor allowed all six goals on 24 shots before being replaced by Jake Paterson early in the third period.
Paterson stopped both shots he faced in relief.
London went 0 for 2 on the power play while Saginaw went 0 for 3.
