York Regional Police say a single suspect is believed to be responsible for at least 10 bank robberies in the Greater Toronto Area.

The lone suspect held up a bank in Richmond Hill last Saturday morning.

Police say the suspect approached a bank teller, jumped the counter, indicated he had a weapon and made a demand for cash.

Although no weapon was seen, the victim complied and the man fled the area on foot with a quantity of cash. Police say there were no injuries.
