It’s going to be a summer of construction on the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge.
Halifax Harbour Bridges announced Thursday they are starting to resurface the approach spans on the bridge this Sunday, resulting in lane closures on weekday evenings from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
The release also said to expect full bridge closures on weekends starting July 3, closing Friday evening at 7 p.m. and re-opening Monday, July 6 at 5:30 a.m.
The only exception to the weekend closures is July 18 and 19, to accommodate the KISS concert and tall ships festival, and August 1 and 2 for Natal Day celebrations.
The HHB anticipates work to continue until completion during Labour Day weekend, however weather may be a determining factor.
